Andy has, quite simply, been the best coach I have had. I took him on in 2006 as I knew he had experience in the ultra running field. Since then he has helped me complete (and win) a number of ultra runs and is probably the main inspiration in me attempting Arch to Arc this year.

1. Assuming you keep your feet intact.
2. Assuming you keep your energy levels up.
3. Assuming you can Manage Your Mood!

Let's assume that you can - so we can answer the question.

Up Close & Personal in the Lake District

Colouring in the inaugural running of the Ultra Tour Of The Lake District
August 8-9th 2008. Rest when you get there...

'I bet those bloody sheep must be getting seriously worried!' The only reason I can't lift my head to check is that I am concentrating hard on the Task At Hand which is this:"I'm at 65 miles on an exposed open fellside climbing to the high point of the entire route. It's torrential rain, howling wind and I'm wearing nothing below my waist except for my running shoes.

Ultra-Marathon Running: A Contact Sport
